The non-surgical alternatives for liposuction are a big business. There is plenty of body contouring methods. Most of them work towards the removal of subcutaneous fat cells from the body. The Contour Body wrap procedure works by providing a temporary tightening effect on the muscles and by removing the toxins from the cellulite areas. This treatment offers inch loss that remains for about 30 days. This method includes the application of electrodes to the skin to stimulate the muscles. After just a single treatment you can get weight loss of 1 – 2 cm.

Laser Lipo or Laser Lipolysis is another popular salon treatment of body contouring. In this treatment, laser light of a particular frequency is given that goes into 6 cm depth in the subcutaneous fatty layer. It causes fat cells to release the stored content and this causes inch loss. After Laser Lipo treatment, you should exercise so that the fat gets burned because the fat cells can re-absorb it. To achieve a good result, you will need about 8 to 10 sessions. Treatment is done two times a week. Post-treatment, you will need exercise so that you do not have the risk of refilling of the fat cells.

Ultrasound cavitation

Ultrasonic Cavitation is a different kind of treatment from laser lipolysis. It uses an ultrasound. In the medical field, cavitation is applied in a controlled manner. It is used to destroy fatty tissue selectively. This treatment is different from Laser Lipo because it does not empty the fat cells, but destroys the fat cells so that the cells do not refill with fat. The production of new fat cells by the body happens only when the old fat cells reach a definite capacity. The area is massaged using ultrasound transducer. Ultrasound waves go inside the particular areas and it causes the destruction of fat cells.

Lipo Laser beds

Lipo Laser Beds are also called the lipo laser tables. They are what they sound like. It is a bed for the patients where they lie down to go through the treatment. Unlike the traditional Laser beds, the modern daybed surfaces can be moved up and down. The patients are wrapped up with pads automatically that are fitted as the bed structures. Similar to the lipo laser units, the laser beds composed of diodes and straps. A typical session lasts for 10 or 20 minutes. The setup is quite simple and it takes lesser than 2 minutes, and the patient is just required to lie down.
